CorrectPort Atelier

Our Story, Rooted in Craft

CorrectPort Atelier began in a small terracotta studio overlooking the Pacific, where a handful of bead lovers decided to make the ancient practice of weaving accessible to modern hands.

How It Began

In 2014, founder Lena Volkov opened a single table workshop in Sausalito. The first students arrived with nothing but curiosity and left with finished cuffs and a new sense of calm. Word spread. More tables appeared.

Today our sunlit studio hosts eight resident makers and welcomes over twelve hundred students each year from every continent.

Mission & Values

We teach patience as the first technique.
Every bead we stock is ethically sourced and traceable.
Small batches only. No mass production.
Community first: half of all tuition supports local craft education programs.
